What the course is all about?

This Course is intended for those beginning to learn the basics of African languages. It is written for those wishing to acquire a quick working knowledge of the language. It puts more emphasis on communicative ability so as to be able to function in real life situations.

Why the need?

With globalization, trade, commerce, education and many other critical societal issues call for universal communication. Understanding and speaking African Languages therefore, makes it essential for non-natives to have basic communication proficiency to successfully conduct commerce, trade and educational interchange

Course objectives

The aim of this course is to enable non-native African Languages to acquire basic speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. The course will also help the learners have a basic knowledge of the African culture.

How will it be delivered?

The mode of study will be pure online. However to complement the emphasis of communicative ability, this course in its format flows from a series of dialogue, songs and repetition drills to help in pronunciation.

We shall also have 2 extra group classes,  they will be live sessions on African culture ie food, music etc  you shall be allowed to invite family and friends (this will be done online
